Artist Application

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Winter Park Paint Out. Each year, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens (“the Polasek” or “Museum”) hosts over 20 artists during the last full week of April for our signature fundraising event.

The Winter Park Paint Out is one of the oldest plein air festivals in the state of Florida. During its 18 year history, 100+ different artists have created over 4500 original paintings capturing the beauty and charm of our unique Central Florida community. Of those paintings, approximately 1700 have been purchased by our patrons, sponsors and supporters for a cumulative sales total of over $1,370,000.

The Winter Park Paint Out is a JURIED entry event. We encourage all plein air artists to apply and welcome both local, out-of-state, and international participants. Select artists from the 2026 Paint Out will be asked to return based on their number of sales. The remaining spaces are open to any other artists wishing to return in 2027 or to participate for the first time. To be considered for one of these open positions, please complete our online application. There is no application fee.

Deadline for entry is Friday, October 16, 2026, 12:00 Midnight ET.

ALL artists must submit a completed application, along with three recent plein air images (within the last 2 years and no studio work please). In addition, each artist agrees to abide by the event’s Terms and Conditions of Participation. Use the following links to view those terms and submit an online application:
